Rosanne M. “Rose” Quist, 58, of Stevens Point, WI, passed away Sunday, August 05, 2012, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire from complications from pneumonia. 

She was born October 17, 1953, in Tomah, WI, the daughter of La Mont and Janice (Hall) Clark.  Rose graduated from Tomah Senior High School in 1971. 

Rose is survived by her two sons, Joseph (Melinda) Clark of Winona, MN, and Troy (Sara) Quist of Tomah, WI; grandchildren, Joshua and Justin Clark, and Tristen and Ashten Quist; brothers and sisters, Steven (Alice) Clark of Winter, WI, Kathryn Zinsmeister of New Richmond, WI, Anne Quist of Winter, WI, Timothy (Jessica) Clark of Tomah, WI, and Scott Clark of Tomah, WI; and by numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Robert and Thomas Clark, and sisters, Darla VanKirk and Dawn Brown.

A private family celebration of Rose’s life will be held. 

Chippewa Valley Cremation Services is serving the family

  • Gordon "Butch" Pinel Rosey, thankyou for your honesty ant friendship that I am especially greatfull for in the last phase of your life. You told me about the time growing up that you carried the blocks for your Dad.I'm so glad to have talked with you before our Lord brought you home.   • Bonnie Hancock I am sorry to hear of the passing of Rosanne. Rosanne was classmate of mine at Tomah High School and part of my class of 1971. I am praying that each of you find peace in knowing that she has been promoted to a higher place than this earth.

  • Salley Sparks Rosanne and I went to High School together. I remember her smile and always telling her, I wished I was as tall as she was! I'm so sorry for your loss, but she will always be in my heart and yours, of course. I feel very lucky to have known her for a short time. My prayers are all with you now as your healing time goes on.

  • Mary Johnson Troy I worked with your Mom at Meca quite awhile ago. She was a dear friend who I lost contact with. I tried to find out where she was but to no avail. I am so sorry for your loss.   • Mona (Smith) Spohn (daughter of Caroline-LaMont's sister) So sorry to hear about Rose's death. I hadn't seen her in many years and wasn't sure where she was. I remember her from when my parents ran Larry's Bar in Ontario in the seventies. She was a very pretty girl and seemed full of life to me; always smiling and laughing. Thoughts and prayers to you all who mourn her and will miss her as a part of your daily lives.

  • Helen Hodson Melinda and Joe....You have my deepest condolences. I am very very sorry for your loss. Try to remember all the days your mom had and not just think the day she passed, it is one day and her life was many, many more days. She would want you to celebrate her life, honor her memory.
