Condolences

  • Rose Bradford-Palmer To my Cousin Jim

The holidays are here and your gone. I miss not talking with you everyday and I'm going to miss not being able to help you with everything you needed help with. It was part of my life. We had a special bond- our cousins would say, " They act like an old married couple"- finishing each other sentences, etc.

Giving my kidney to you was the right decision in my life and I'm sorry that the circumstances in your life wouldn't let that happen for you. Another special event was having my son "Jim" named after you. My family all cherished you.

When I look towards the heavens I will see a twinkling star and I know it will be you looking down at me and keeping me safe. I will miss and above all, love you forever!!!

    Till we meet again--

Your Little Cousin Rosie, <3 you!!!!

  • Dianne Holstein Schmitt Hi Suzie and family,
I have had so many good times with Jim that I could not possibly write them all. I will always remember the happy hours, (Scotts, Last Chance, Hong Kong House to name a few) hanging around and camping up north. I respect his decision as it takes alot of peace within the heart to follow through.
I will never forget and have a smile everytime I think of him.

  • Tim Broetzmann Jim and I met and worked together at Uniroyal starting in 1969. We were roommates briefly until 1971 when I got married and Jim was my best man. We hung around together until 1991 when the Uniroyal plant was announced for closure and I relocated to Alabama. Unfortunately we did not keep in touch as my life became a whirlwind until I retired recently back to Wisconsin. I'm not sad about Jim leaving this world as he was always so close to his family and is now reunited with his parents in peace. Jim always made me laugh no matter what the circumstances.
